National Early College Leaders Network

The Early College Network (ECN) is a peer learning community of schools and programs in North Carolina that uses a dual enrollment strategy which allows students to earn high school and college credits concurrently in a college-going environment. This year, RTI will launch a national Early College Leaders Network in order to expand access to programs in other states.

The national Early College Leaders Network is ideal for leaders who are supporting existing programs, those who are new to early college programs, and for leaders who are working to establish new early college programs. This may include high school principals or program directors, as well as college or university partners who are working to establish or strengthen early college programs.

Why join a network for national early college leaders?

  • Regularly connect with other early college leaders to share expertise and work through problems of practice
  • Attend the 2025 Early College Summit in Winston-Salem, NC (registration fee included in cost of ECLN)
  • Access shared resources for school design, student supports, and high quality instruction
  • Engage in professional learning on topics essential to Early College success:
    • Program design
    • Student and family recruitment
    • Establishing strong high school – college/university partnerships
    • Supporting first generation and underrepresented students
    • Supporting high school students in college courses
